Overview

Paul practices in the area of tax and corporate planning for closely held businesses and professionals. He has a special focus in qualified and nonqualified deferred compensation and executive compensation.  He is also the leading partner on our team of lawyers in the US, Geneva, Hong Kong and London that is dedicated to IRS Voluntary Disclosure issues currently affecting our individual clients. 

His practice includes the areas of international tax planning, domestic estate planning, and employee benefits, including qualified and non-qualified plans and executive compensation. Paul also provides advice on unique deferred compensation issues affecting tax-exempt entities such as hospitals and municipalities.   

Paul has been named one of the nation’s Top 100 Attorneys in Worth Magazine for 2005-2007.  He has also been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1987 and named a Top Tax Attorney by various other publications including Super Lawyers, Corporate Counsel Magazine, New York Magazine and Connecticut Magazine.
